Palmer Divide Ranch located on a geological ridge running from Palmer Lake eastward which creates its own weather patterns and separates the Arkansas River drainage to the South & the Platte River Drainage to the North. Rumored to have once been owned by general Palmer, this ranch is home to old growth forests and fields that produce hay for livestock. Original buildings and a grain silo built by the settlers still stand.
